Acronym: iDVD Project File
DVD project created with Apple iDVD, a DVD authoring program; includes a template for the DVD interface, movie chapters, and references to additional video clips or slideshows; can be burned to a DVD disc that can be played in a DVD player.
iDVD projects can be created from scratch or by exporting a movie from iMovie to iDVD. Chapter markers created in iMovie are retained by iDVD.
